Bring on winter
The World Series starts tonight, and I'm stuck in a very difficult position. The Rockies are a bunch of Jesus freaks who probably think we're all bound for hell here in the little green house. The Red Sox are ... the Red Sox.Blech. How many days until pitchers and catchers report?

The Sox won, right? It is possible to love Jesus and not be homophobic. Please don't flame me. I am just tying to be open- minded all the way around, though I have little ken about the Rockies' ways.
You can definitely love Jesus without being a freak about it. I think the freakiness begins when you start thinking of Jesus as your best friend and forget what the dude actually preached. Peace, anyone?
To clarify: There are Jesus freaks, and then there are Christians. Two very different things. We love you. And Jesus loves you. And Jesus loves Curt Schilling, although for the life of me, I can't figure out why.
I'm pretty sure Jesus would be a little weirded out by all of the stuff people do in his name when they aren't asking him for personal favors.
