Random thoughts
... as I sit in court waiting for a trial I'm covering to restart:- Laptops and wireless Internet access are great things. (Can I buy a laptop Judybat, pleeeeeease??)
- My daughter and son's heads are the same size, even though she is 7 months old and he is 4. Do our heads stop growing that early?
- Spinach puree leads to very odd and messy poop in a baby.
- Girl parts are harder to clean than boy parts. (See note about spinach puree poop.)
- Joe Torre is so going to get fired, even though Brian Cashman is really the one who deserves to go.
- Making lists like this is an easy fallback for lazy people who haven't gotten enough sleep recently.
- "Battlestar Galactica" is, like, the best show EVER.
- There is a new version of "Scooby Doo" out, and it's a lot smarter and (purposely) funnier than the original. Plus, the animation is much better. I credit computers.
- I want an iPhone, but not until they're cheaper and you can get one on something other than an AT&T network.
- My spouse is crazy: Two weeks ago, Comcast offered to give us HBO, Starz and a DVR along with internet phone service for just $20 a month more than we're currently paying for digital cable and high-speed internet access.
- People keeping walking up to TheGirl and saying, "Hi, Blondie!" She is blonde, whether we like it or not.
- Courtroom chairs are inherently uncomfortable.

Of course the girl is blonde. Her grandma was blond for many years.
Ahem. TheGirl is all natural.
Personally I like Star Trek. the oldcamy version with William Shatner.Although it is kinda sexist. Also, have you ever seen High School Musical. It has a cult following with the 10 and uinder crowd. Boys even seemto like it, But don't tell anyone. jake starts camp in three days and then my summer vacation begins. Not really I gotta go through the house and clean it. Yuck. But I can have a playdate with my friends.
Cashman deserves termination more than Torre, but at the same time it's hard to see how Torre's presence helps the Yanks these days -- meaning, the last two years. I like them both. They've done a lot of great things, and Cashman is hard to evaluate because he didn't have full control until the last year or so, but man, he's made some bad moves.

Laptops are the best. We take ours on vacay with usand use it to downoad new music, store and send new digital photos (we hate storing them on the ipod because you can't really SEE them all that well despite the screen), watch dvds on the plane, and I am told you can watch tivo'd things on it, though I have yet to fig that one out. Also, cable rules. You should get that sweet deal post haste, but watch how much the babes watch it. TV makes kids hyper and irritating.
The spouse is definitely crazy: the internet phone alone is worth the extra bills.
