So Paul McCartney is boycotting the Beijing Olympics because of China's ill treatment of cats and dogs? Funny, I don't recall hearing him complain about their ill treatment of people.
I'm not saying the ethical treatment of animals isn't an important cause. I just wish we could all fight a little harder for the ethical treatment of humans. Of course, if we were to do that, we might see a lot of boycotts of the U.S.

Paul Mc Cartney is a saggy hippy and he makes me tired. I agree with you. On that note, let's open up trade with Cuba, since they seem (with regard to human rights) to be no worse or better than China, but with better music and food.
Muy bien. Vamos a Cuba!
Here's what I want to know: at what sport does Sir Paul so excel that he can actually boycott the world's premier sporting competition?
It's human nature, sweetpea. Animals are a lot less objectionable than people.
