Have you seen Reality Bites recently? It may be worth taking another look at.
When that movie first came out, I didn't quite understand what all the fuss was about or why so many critics seemed to think it was such an accurate representation of my generation.
Now, at 33, I'm starting to get it.
Plus, it contains one of my favorite movie scenes ever, that quick throwaway when Steve Zahn's character is pretending to practice his coming-out spiel to his parents. The way he says "Pee-FLAG" just cracks me the heck up.
I've found that by cutting work out of my schedule, I can more easily meet my recommended daily allowance of e-mailing, mindless Internet surfing, snacking, and watching French cartoons on the CBC.
As for you, it's only a matter of time before these left-coasters recognize your brilliance and tear you away from your kiwis with offers of corner offices and fabulous prizes.
