An excellent use of your time

The Boy has finally reached that much-anticipated stage in which his verbal skills have exploded. It seems he has words for everything now. The only problem is I can't understand most of them. I spend a good part of my day trying to decipher his odd little language, which has all the familiar vowel sounds we know and love without the pesky interference of consonants. To be fair, he spends the better part of his day repeating the same word over and over and over and over and over and over until I get it, which has got to be frustrating. He is very patient with me.

If you'd like to take a stab at communicating with The Boy, GO RIGHT AHEAD. (I promise you a fabulous interactive multimedia experience if you click on this link. Satisfaction guaranteed or your money back.)

And when you're done, maybe you can answer this question for me: do you think it's about time I got a job?

You'll need the Flash 5 (or later) player to see this. If you don't have it, you can download it HERE.

Wow, I love it! The giggle factor makes it totally worth playing again and again. Which I guess must be how it is with the real Boy. :-)

The Boy's voice made our day. I, of course, couldn't follow directions and made him cry. Hope, of course, read the directions and together we made him elated. He got bored and moved on. Judy, my dear, you DO have a job. Entertaining all us working stiffs who live vicariously through our friends. love ya

I am so completely hooked on this game! My posse and I are dropping our nighttime games of Half Life 2 and taking up "The Boy Says." Even after a dozen games, I still get most wrong. Damn you, The Boy!

It's big big fun. He sounds like bytes from Monsters Inc.! What an insanely adorable Boy he is!
To no-one's surprise, I caused two tantrums while J. got the giggle. Which tells you who you should entrust with any NYC babysitting you may need... My plan to pop one out and hand it over to him until college stands firm.

After such a recommendation as I got on Saturday, I couldn't NOT play this game. I am proud to be a fine interpreter of Boy-to-Animal. Only one wrong on the Road to Ecstatic. Moo, Moose, po-tay-to, po-tah-to. Thank you for this excellent use of my time.
